Well, is this exchange of Mikko Rantanen a great way to spice up the canine days of the NHL season?
Thank you, Éric Tlsky. Thank you, Chris Macfarland. Thank you, Kyle Davidson. The Directors General of the Hurricanes of Carolina, the Avalanche du Colorado and the Blackhawks of Chicago proved Friday with a massive agreement with three teams that it is not necessary to be part of the Old Boys’ Club to advance the things.

The most impressive – while waiting for what MacFarland could have in his sleeve – is probably Tlsky, who took over the torch from the hands of his former boss, Don Waddell, and went to the fences. He officially became COWBOYS Managing Director with this decision, and he deserves the merit of having had the necessary stones to make such a big deal during his first year of work.
Of course, he has been in Caroline for some time now, and he knows that the Hurricanes have failed to break the match in the playoffs forever. Waddell tried to rectify this by exchanging against Jake Guentzel last season, but it did not work. But that has not dissuaded Tlsky from going out and getting what is undoubtedly the jewel of the deadline for exchanges in the NHL six weeks in advance.
Will this bring a Stanley Cup at Caroline for the first time since 2007? Maybe. Maybe not. But you have to love daring. That madness begins.
