The Blackhawks remind Landon Slaggert of Icehogs

Rockford Icehogs recently invaded the alignment of Chicago’s Blackhawks. This tends to happen (an AHL team sends many guys in the NHL) during the reconstruction seasons.

The latest addition to the Chicago list will be Landon Slaggert. They called him from Rockford before their match against the Wild of Minnesota on Sunday evening.

Landon Slaggert was drafted in the 3rd round (79th in total) of the NHL recovery 2020 and he has been working hard to get there since.

Slaggert will not dress against the Wild. However, they have a road trip of three games to come, so they wanted to place this 13th attacker on the list. The exchange of Taylor Hall and Craig Smith in IR without a NHL player coming back has left this hole.

Slaggerlet, in 39 games this year with Rockford, has 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points. He has been a productive player since he was professional after a career as university hockey to Notre Dame. Now he should have ice at NHL level for a few games. If he proves himself, he could stay.
